AM Hearing Booking Policy

Thank you for choosing AM Hearing for your hearing health needs. To provide the highest quality of care and maintain an efficient schedule for all patients, we adhere to the following booking policies.
1. Scheduling Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled by phone, in person, or via our Online Booking Portal.
Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS. Please review the date and time carefully.
Appointments typically require 45 to 60 minutes.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that emergencies arise; however, we require notice to offer your slot to other patients on our waiting list.
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Short Notice Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the consultation cost.
No-Show Policy: If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, a "No-Show" fee (up to the full cost of the consultation) will be charged. Patients with multiple no-shows will be required to pre-pay in full for future appointments.
3. Late Arrivals
We understand that unexpected delays can occur. However, arriving late may shorten your appointment time to accommodate other scheduled clients. If you anticipate a significant delay, please inform us as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling options.
4. Payment and Medical Schemes
While we work with various providers, patients are responsible for verifying their benefits.
Depending on your specific plan, you may be required to pay for your consultation upfront and claim back from your provider’s day-to-day benefits.
5. Patient Preparation
Documentation: New patients must complete an intake and consent form, please bring your ID with you. By booking with AM Hearing, you consent to the secure processing of your personal data for medical records.
Medication & History: Please bring a list of current medications and any previous hearing test results.
Companion: We encourage you to bring a family member or friend to your consultation to assist with communication assessments.
